EEK! Medusa is not someone I want to meet. ;-)

Very nice photo!

Hi Chris,
That looks very much like a Gorgon to me....
What a lovely balistrade on the building.

Lene hat gesagt…

A beautiful monster, anyway :) And a beautiful entryway :)

What an interesting feature and shot. Very detailed.

Great and interesting shot.

Black and White enhances its whole expression. I would almost believe it's not the house of happiness.
But it gives a wonderful picture.

Obviously, you have not been turned yo stone. Perhaps she restores any stone people placed before her... but I don't suppose anyone has tried that.
Very imposing.

Love the tone of this shot. Looks like she got a taste of her own medicine!

That is a great mono shot. :-)

I hope I will not turn to stone now by looking upon that grumpy face. Superb for a monochrome though.

Das Gesicht sieht ja fast "gruselig" aus ..und die Augen schauen einen so ernst an, habe ich das Gefühl :o)
..wieder ein interssantes Bild von Dir.

What an odd choice for a doorway - she looks tormented. I'm not sure I'd want to go in there every day.

I would not want to have her 'hovering' over my front door. Although it is a beautiful photo

I love the depiction of Medusa turned to stone. She does not look very pleased with her position! Lovely shapes and patterns.

What a very sad face!

Good one...

Poor Medusa .. either her snakes were choking her or she's had some of those Lemons Catherine posted

This is a great Monochrome shot.
Medusa means Guardian. Her head is an evil averting device! That is why it is set over doors. She has also two sisters and the wohle story as usually in greek mythology rather "bloody".

see you there! hat gesagt…

I think Medusa is sometimes depicted over a doorway to keep evil out. With that scowl and those snakes it would probably work.

Nifty photo. I think the old girl needs a cup of cheer, don't you?
